The 'Blonde in a box' (Bob's GPS) let us down this morning.
The fuel stop we expected in 7 miles turned out to be defunct so we had to push on to the next one with Bob's bike on fumes. He picked up the nozzle but when he selected fuel type, gas shot out of the nozzle all over his bike. This led to an impromptu bike wash.

The Dunes on Oregons coast
Bob took this picture and we were right behind him. Just as we got up to the rollback truck I heard a loud bang and looking over I saw the white truck rolling backwards off the rollback. The truck operator could only stand with his hands on his head in horror as he watched it roll backwards down and (fortunately) to the right, away from traffic but over the side of the mountain. OOPS!
This recovery job just got a lot more involved.

We camped just north of Vancouver, Washington.
Setting up tents in the dark makes it more interesting.
Mt. Hood and Multnomah Falls; favorites...sunset over Columbia River too, and great pics of Rebecca...really nice, Brad. Talked to Dan this morning, he says Hello! glad to hear you're doing well.
